When you partner with The Civic Research Alliance, strategic planning becomes more than building a better future for your municipality, school district, small business, or organization. Our process helps you understand the consequences of decisions made today upon operations and services that may last decades. It will also show how different or new approaches may be better than doing things the way you do them now.
Our approach is decision oriented and action oriented, providing useful outcomes to fit your specific needs and challenges. We will help you review, revise, or develop your:
- Mission: where you intend your municipality, school district, business, or organization to go and to be in the future
- Objectives: creating key goals and needs to achieve your mission
- Strategies: viable options that help achieve your goals
- Actions: determining the best ways to put your strategies into action
The Alliance can complete the entire planning process for you—from data collection and interviews, to planning sessions, to preparation of your final report. Or, we can facilitate a strategic planning process or working groups already in place. Facilitation may include a leadership position, or support by providing needed information, demographics, environmental scans, background research, or program evaluation.
When our planning process is complete, you will have learned to continue the planning process on your own.
